The purpose of IrelandMetrix is to provide a site-centric Internet Audience Measurement (IAM) system for Ireland. This system will provide regularly published, independent data on Internet usage in Ireland. This in turn will increase overall online advertising spending in Ireland thereby increasing the value of all Irish Internet publishers' advertising inventories.
BlueMetrix is an Irish company founded in 2000. In that same year we established our operations in Japan where we are now ranked as one of the leading Web Analytics providers with clients such as Ricoh, Pioneer & Toshiba. Building on this success, we opened our European HQ, based in Cork, in 2003. In 2005, the company began providing IAM services in Norway, Finland & Denmark where the availability of national IAMs is credited with contributing hugely to the explosive growth of online advertising in those markets. In 2006, we introduced IAMs to the Baltic states of Estonia, Lithuania & Latvia.
From November 12th, the following data: unique visitors, page impressions, unique sessions will be published on a monthly basis on www.irelandmetrix.ie. This data will also be published in the national media on a monthly basis.
