IrelandMetrix has been developed by BlueMetrix, an Irish company, based in Cork, which has been supplying web analytics measurement services in the Japanese market since 2000, and statistics for Internet Audience Measurement (IAM) systems in several Scandinavian and Baltic countries since 2005. These published IAM statistics, which include Unique Visitors, Unique Sessions and Page Views are certified by IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) and are in compliance with the regulations of ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion & Market Research).
After much consultation with Ireland's leading web presences, Bluemetrix has launched IrelandMetrix to meet the clear demand for a regularly published, reliable and, most importantly, an independent audience measurement benchmark for online advertising in Ireland.
The system has been established to provide the online media industry in Ireland with 3rd party, independent IAM figures on a regular basis. This will provide a much required, cost-effective program for websites which offer online advertising in Ireland. Equally, it provides media buyers and advertisers with reliable data to make better informed buying decisions, improve ROI on online marketing spend, and for the market as a whole to demonstrate accountability of online spend.

is being published on a monthly basis on www.irelandmetrix.ie. This data is also available to the national media. |
